Information We Collect
When you run a speed test, we collect: your measured download speed, upload speed, latency, and jitter. We also collect the approximate connection type detected by your browser, device type, and browser name. We do not collect personally identifiable information from anonymous tests.
If you create an account, we collect your email address and any optional display name you provide. Your email is stored securely and is never sold or shared with third parties.
How We Use Your Data
Speed test results are used to display your results, save your history (if logged in), and produce anonymized aggregate statistics on internet quality. We do not use your data for advertising profiling and do not sell individual test data to ISPs, advertisers, or data brokers.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in if you have an account. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
Data Retention
Anonymous test results may be retained indefinitely as part of aggregate research data. Account-linked test results are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
